“It is probably unfortunate that the request for a review came in just after I had run 10.69 miles and climbed 1442' in these shoes. I had bought some Topo Fli-Lyte-2 for road running and they are super-comfortable. Perhaps foolishly, I expected these to be the same. They are not so wide at the toes as the Fli-Lytes and feel a tad shorter. They were great for shorter runs (approx 5.5 miles) but were not comfortable for this longer run. Probably a half size bigger would have been advisable.”
“These are a great shoe and I think will become a favourite. I forget I am wearing them which is a really good sign! Normally, my toes get squashed in other shoes after a couple of hours but they are unscathed in these. I have only had them for a couple of weeks but they seem very robust too. The only issue I have had with them is that the insoles slipped out of place when I got my feet wet but I was only walking in them at the time. Overall, a sturdy, comfortable shoe with loads of room in the toe and good groundfeel.”
“Super comfy, straight from box. Did x2 7 mile trail runs immediately, but aware of my calf (just a ‘feel’) on hills on the second run, so reckon I might need to take a bit more care transitioning to 3mm drop. Fits true to size, heel cup felt a bit different when first put them on, but it actually just holds the heel snugly in place. Really comfy toe box (I have m/w feet) . Feels reasonable cushioning but with a good friend feel.”
