“These are brilliant shoes for rocky trails and hard packed surfaces. They have good grip and just enough support.
Also secure on wet rock. Not really designed for wet grass.
Overall. Excellent.”
“Have had two pairs of old style Terroc 330's which were good but hard on the road (I run 50/50 road and off-road). The New Roclite 305's are light, fit like a glove and grip so well on muddy tracks that it almost feels like road running. Improved cushioning has also helped, but have found after about 100k that the cushioning feels less effective.
Overall I would buy another pair tomorrow as most effective shoe I have found for mixed terrain.”
“Enjoying these.
Fit seems true to size and is snugger than previous roclites, somewhere between a precision and standard fit.
Heel is s little looser than my xtalons but is causing no issues, grip in mud seems similar to previous versions.
Durability remains to be seen as the upper seems to be an all new inov8 material but for me that is where the weak point of the shoe would normally be so hopefully they've made progress.
Will be keen to try the roclite 290 as I prefer lower drop shoes but s shame the tongue isn't gussetted in the 290”
