“This is possibly the ultimate trail running shoe. It has the lugs for secure running through mud, the comfort for long distances and I‘ve found them to be very durable. I particularly like the wide toe box, and hope they are not losing this as they change lines again for next season! No thought of wearing anything else for the OMM last month, which possibly says it all....”
“An excellent fell-running shoe if you have broad feet. Outsole has been secure both on typical Pennine terrain and snow. Rand seems more substantial than on previous versions and should wear better.Super service from Northern Runner; we were snowed-in for several days and a request to delay delivery was dealt with most efficiently.”
“Bought these to replace my Mudclaw 300's which had given me sterling service on the hills. The 275's were thrown into the deep end straight away in a 2,500ft 7.5 mile hill race, this was on the back of melting snow, deep muddy sheep trods & bogs. The shoes performed as you would expect from Inov8, positive foot placement in the mud , bomb proof grip on the wet steep downhills. The cushioning added an extra dimension of comfort not found in the 300's. Wore them again for an absolute brute of a hilly, mud fest x/c championship, again no slipping in the mud or water, which gave you the confidence, just to let go when others were struggling.”
“Another great shoe from Inov8 . Have stuck with Inov8 for many years as they are sonreliable. My only issue now with the brand is that many of the lightest Inov8 only come in precision fit. Actually sourcing standard fit is becoming harder and harder which is why I am so grateful to Northern RunnerRunner. I will know to look at their website first next time around.”
