“Great true to size fit. Firm feel and grip is awesome. Certainly as good, if not better than other more expensive brands. Just knocked one star off for styling. Great shoes, just styling isn’t as modern as it could be.”
“Sizing was very small. Not much width at toes. Heel was very uncomfortable, I knew just from trying them on inside they'd cause me major problems at the heel out running. Sent them back.”
“I wore these first time out on a very demanding terrain including stoney paths, pebble beach, sand, mud and dense undergrowth and was in the shoes for over two hours. My only problem was a small blister over the big toe. I discovered the problem to be the tongue which being quite flimsy had rolled in on itself. I am hoping to use these shoes for a mountain marathon and I am sure they will be fine for this, being fairly light but robust and roomy in the toe box.”
“Excellent basic fell shoe, with no gimmicks. Sole gives confident grip and sheds mud fairly well (though not the very best I've used - but still good). Comfort (which will always be a balancing act against weight) is adequate. My first use was a 2 hour run including Whernside (in less than ideal weather) and they caused no foot issues. Done a few other runs since, one on rough rocky stuff, which hasn't led to any failures of stitching or cement (the only visible signs being the usual scuffing, which is just cosmetic. I ordered my normal shoe size and there were no problems of fitting. For such a quality product the price is very fair. I'll be ordering another pair soon (purely to have put by, in case the design ever changes). In short, delighted with them.”
