Read Northern Parrots Reviews

Monitoring your bird's weight is an extremely reliable indicator of health and can alert you to problems days before they would be evident otherwise.
These scales are accurate to within 1 gram or 0.1oz and can weigh up to 5kg. Uses four AAA batteries (already supplied).
They also come with a bowl for weighing baby birds.
There is also a choice of an additional T-Perch (SOLD SEPERATELY) for adult birds. To fit, you remove the bowl and secure the T Perch. Remember to reset to zero, now your bird can step onto the perch for a quick health check.

Without doubt the best harness you can buy for your bird. Not cluttered up with dangerous and uncomfortable metal clips and fastenings like some harnesses and very secure once fitted. My CAG took to The Aviator right away and once fitted he pays no attention to it. He looks forward to his trips outdoors wearing his Aviator harness and we all know how important access to natural light is to parrots, especially greys. The included dvd is very helpful.

I still haven't actually tried the harness but the accompanying DVD was brilliant and taught me a great deal about understanding my bird and better handling proceedures. I have been following some of the tips and already within a few days ny parrot and I are developing a much more harmonious relationship.I know when we are both ready to try the harness we are going to get on really well

We got this as a safety measure in case our parrot ever had to go to the vets. (doors opening unexpectedly once in the vets room etc.) He loves it as it is used in fun situations now and would not be afraid to put it on in other situations. DVD very helpful as it taught us and him how to do things slowly so there would not be any fear, therefore total rejection of the harness.

We bought the flight harness for our African grey, Obie. She is beginning to accept it, hoprefully allowing us to give her some freedom when she cruises with us on our sailing trips.
