Calcivet is a high-quality liquid calcium supplement for birds with added Vitamin D3. Especially vital during breeding, and should be given weekly to all birds. African Greys have a particular requirement for this mineral.
Add Calcivet to drinking water or onto moist/soft foods, it easily absorbs into bones, nerves and muscles where needed. Without enough calcium a Parrot can develop problems with egg laying, slow moults, feather plucking, nervousness and respiratory problems.
Calcium is involved in brain and nerve function and can improve behavioural problems such as feather plucking and chewing.

“A must have for every pet parrot owner. I give it 2 days per week to my budgies. I take 0.75ml out with a syringe and mix it in 50ml water.”

“I can only really leave you feedback on postage , item was sent out In very good packing And received in immaculate condition , however the standard postage is very slow . If you re not in a rush for this product I would recommend .”

“I have tried everything going to try and get some calcium into my African Grey and finally found a product that she loves and will drink with water.It has been a nightmare with her, she would not take any additives in her food or water at all. Took her to my vets and he recommended this and she has never looked back.I'm delighted!”

“I ordered this item on friday morning and paid for next day delivery.The said item arrived on monday.It cost me 5.99 pp for an item costing 9.99.And it took four days to arrive.I am sure the calcivet will be worth it the reviews sound promising.But i wont be purchasing any more from northernparrotts.They dont even apologise .”
