Read Northern Parrots Reviews

Because birds can be intolerant of artificial pesticides, fertilisers and preservatives, Harrison's Bird Foods have developed the first and only 100% Organic bird food.
The ingredients are premium whole grains and are approved for human consumption.
High Potency is recommended for…
Birds being converted from a seed-based diet. Birds being converted from any other diet. Feed for a period of at least 6 months before transitioning to Harrison’s Adult Lifetime.
African Greys, Large Macaws as a year-round diet, due to their increased nutritional requirements.
Birds that are moulting, overweight, underweight, very active, housed in a cold climate, recovering from illness, affected by liver or kidney disease.
Birds that are weaning – feed for at least 6-9 months.
Birds that are breeding – Ideally feed for 2 months prior to the breeding period and until chicks are weaned, or for at least 6 months before resuming Harrison’s Adult Lifetime.
We would recommend a veterinary health check prior to changing your bird's diet.

was a bit sceptical with this at first because of the price and the fact that eric my grey was a very fussy eater, the first time i gave it to him he threw it everywhere, so i left it a couple of hours so he was hungry and wow what a difference , he ate the full bowl and now he rattles his bowls as soon as they are empty he loves his harrisons high potency, so much so that i dont feed him any thing else apart from fruit every now and then but he wont eat the fruit if he has his bowls full of harrisons.

I first used the Harrison's Bird Bread to make the conversion to Harrison's pellets easier and now my Congo African grey actually chooses the pellets over the bread (and she absolutely loved the bread, devoured it!) I am more than pleased so far and we will see later on if the nutricious benefits of this diet (combined with greens and fruit) will become visible within a few months. Buy it, your grey will love it and be a happy bird!

I got two caiques that had never had anything but seeds in their life. they love harrisons bird food and ate it without problems from day one! my vet told me it could take very long to get them to eat pellets, only thing i can say is not with harrisons. My birds' feathers are so much more shiny and dense now than when i bought them, though it took half a year or so to get them this brilliant.Since i cannot get harrisons in Denmark i have tried with zupreem too. but my parrots dont like it as much, and I dont like that it aint organic since artificial made vitamins temps to be hard for the body to absorb, so no matter how many vitamins it contains ill never know how much my parrots really get.Furthermore on the back of the bag of Zupreem it sayes that the colors and flavors are both organic AND artificial made. I dont like my parrots to eat artificial made colors if i got another alternative. Therefore i order Harrisons here from UK to Denmark twice a year and freeze it in small bags to preserve it. My parrots love it and i got a clean conscience.
