Read Northern Parrots Reviews

Because birds can be intolerant of artificial pesticides, fertilisers and preservatives, Harrison's Bird Foods have developed the first and only 100% Organic bird food.
The ingredients are premium whole grains and are approved for human consumption.
High Potency is recommended for…
Birds being converted from a seed-based diet. Birds being converted from any other diet. Feed for a period of at least 6 months before transitioning to Harrison’s Adult Lifetime.
African Greys, Large Macaws as a year-round diet, due to their increased nutritional requirements.
Birds that are moulting, overweight, underweight, very active, housed in a cold climate, recovering from illness, affected by liver or kidney disease.
Birds that are weaning – feed for at least 6-9 months.
Birds that are breeding – Ideally feed for 2 months prior to the breeding period and until chicks are weaned, or for at least 6 months before resuming Harrison’s Adult Lifetime.
We would recommend a veterinary health check prior to changing your bird's diet.

Top quality food, not much more to say.Takes a while for the bird to get used to it, you will prolly need to feed him a mix of his old food and the new food. Just lower the amount of old food every day for about a week and generally do not feed him too much (don't starve either) and you will get there.Costs alot of money but it is defo worth it, specially if one considers the little waste from this food.

Had my African Grey 10 years and wish Id tried this food sooner, She is a habitual plucker yet after only one week she has not only 99% reduced plucking but she is so much more less demanding and relaxed which means less stress on me so more quality attention for her ! Happy Days !

Harrissons is what my parrot was first weaned onto and I must say its the best food and it gives him all the nutrients, calium and minerals he requires for shinny healthy feathers without the need to spend pointless money on additional vitiams. It is more expensive but well worth the value. Added with a little tidymix complete seed diet and a touch of fresh fruit and vegetables his diet is so easy to care for

probably a very good product with all the essentials for a parrot but my parrot wouldn`t eat it.

this was recommended as the best diet for my african grey by her vet, at her first check up. she very quickly adjusted and has been having this as her basic diet for 6 years now. She also has fruit, veg and nuts. I feel that with Harrisons she is having all the nutrition that she needs. Although it is recommended to keep food dish away from water, she carries each pellet across to the other side of the cage and dunks it in her water dish before she eats it!

Our African Grey was virtually bald and the vets had no idea what could be wrong - he wasn't pecking or anything. We heard about Harrison's and gradually changed his diet. Now he eats only Harrisons and is well on the way to recovery. I don't know what we were doing wrong but it looks like we're doing it right now. We'll only buy Harrison's foods in future.
