As a African Grey breeder I have been using this product for a number of years with great results Better than the bigger size ones as I find that the African greys dont waist any Just one thing against it is that they dont do them in big packets

I bought this as recommended for my cockatiel who has been unwell ie tired and quiet for a while. Obviously he has seen a vet but as he was quite depressed and fluffed I was reluctant to put him through the additional stress of being anaethetised for blood tests etc so cannot say exactly what was wrong. Initially I gave him some BSP drops from the vet but then after a few days moved on Potent Brew, Calcivet and Guardian Angel being careful to follow the exact instructions which are on the pots, rest and heat. When he was a little improved after a week I decided to proceed with changes in diet and after only two days he is genuinely looking much better. He is no longer having supplements as the food has built in vitamins etc.I will get him checked up again but hopefully it will be a well bird check next time. It was surprisingly easy to make the transition from a seed based diet - I put the pellets in his food pots with a little millet on top, on the table where he hangs out and on my mobile so he could get into some competitive eating with his reflection and he was fine. Apart from the BSP drops from the vet I got all the other products from Northern Parrots and I am so grateful. It is a fantastic company for birds.

Both my conures have this food as a part of their daily diet. It was highly recommended by my avian vet and both birds seem to enjoy it. The only downside is once opened it has to be consumed within 6 weeks.

Great service and great product from Northern Parrots, as ever. Would not feed my Amazon Parrot or cockatiel anything but Harrisons, which is the best.
