Our grey is so fussy and refused everything we gave him, he had mainly a seed diet. He had really poor feather condition which was gradually getting worse. We took him to a avian specialist vet who said he would die very soon if we did not change his deit. She told us we needed to put him onto Harrisons. After a long winded battle we have finally got him eating Harrisons and what an improvement it has made to his condition! He is also more willing to try fruit and veg which he point blankly refused before! I strongly belive this is a life save for parrot sunflower junkies and reccomended anyone to get their parrot onto this before its too late!

My bird has much better feathers and appearance after starting on Harrisons. The conversion was really easy and she now prefers them to seed. A great product and well worth the money. Our birds deserve the best and Harrisons are the best

Now we know the parrots get a balanced meal, they also get some of the seed nut food but that is now more a special treat. It did require some encouragement, The conure we have when he started his whole personality changed he is now calm, does not scream that much anymore, and became very cuddely, he is not the scared of hands, screechy bird anymore that we got. He did settle on his old diet but since he gets this, he eats his portion in the morning and eats a wee bit of his at night, no more waste either (or very little as with the seed and nut diet)The amazon is not that easy to change but am gave the pallets as a treat first, he loved them slowly changed, he is looking sooooo much better and he is a very happy playfull bird.

Started Gladys on Harrisons Pepper Lifetime, to get her off seeds and I now feed her this as well for a bit of variety - not that she hasn't got enough variety what with the bananas, the apple, the green beans, the lettuce, the peppers, the tomatoes, the corn on the cob, the okra, the chillis......and not forgetting the occasional piece of finger of course.

After having several health problems we were advised to put Billy on a complete diet rather than seed. As a sunflower seed junkie used to bright & varied food we were quite worried when he literally took one look at the bowl full of nuggets and then glanced to our rabbits litter tray!! Determined to get him to try them we offered him small amounts each day which he faithfully flung out of his bowl one by one for a week. Eventually he picked up a piece that had broken and got a taste of it, his eyes starting pinning and he was acting like he'd just had one of his favourite treats! since then he has really taken to this food, you can tell he enjoys them as rather than having a chomp and moving onto the next thing he takes his time with them nibbling and tasting each bit.He has been on the food just under a month and we already see the difference, his feathers are gorgeous, the yellow in his cheeks particularly and he produces a lot less dander, he also has considerably less pin feathers. This really is a brilliant product for our Amazon, I just wish they would have appealled to the playful side of parrots making them a different colour or shape, the rabbits still give him funny looks when he eats his dinner!!

My African Grey aged 5 had an addiction to sunflower seeds which was not good for his health and wellbeing. He looked at these nuggets with a very sideways look and refused to touch them until I took one and ate it. There was no stopping him after that. He has fresh vegetables and fruit . He is healthy, good natured and a great companion which I attribute to his diet. He has taken to this product fairly easily. I don't mind them either!
