My grey loves it now, wee bit choosy at first as African greys can be.

I tried to change my CAG onto this instead of the Harrisons coarse mix, as that is aimed at birds in season or that health problems etc. I failed miserably. He cant stand them. I persisted for about 6 months, but he just doesnt like them. Its a decent mix though, with a good size pellet, will seek advice on his diet from the vet.

When we originally bought this product for our blue fronted amazon, at the advise of our avian vet, he was pretty unimpressed at the prospect of eating it. However, we introduced it to his diet a second time a month or so later, and now he really likes it. Hes developed a wee routine of picking up a pellet, taking it to the water dish, giving it a dunk, and eating. He is some cookie.

A great product, my African Grey loves it. Only took one day to move off a seed diet onto a complete pellet diet.

We were recommended this product by our vet when we first became Casper's custodians. He was overweight and was in poor condition. The vet is very pleased with his condition now. Although it can be used as a complete diet (and Casper would probably be happy with just this) we give him this in the evenings along with some fresh fruit and he has Hawaiian pasta in the mornings with fresh fruit and veg. He tends to ignore the veg unless it is pea pods. I think he has a sweet beak.

I have been feeding my African Grey on this for several years. It is quite expensive but I know I can rely on it because the bird is in wonderful health without any vitamin supplements.
