Harrison's Adult Lifetime Fine 1lb Organic Parrot Food Reviews

4.9 Rating 32 Reviews
Read Northern Parrots Reviews

Because birds can be intolerant of artificial pesticides, fertilisers and preservatives, Harrison's Bird Foods developed the first 100% Organic bird food.
The ingredients are premium whole grains and are approved for human consumption.
Adult Lifetime is recommended as year round maintenance formula for healthy, non-breeding birds including Lories, Cockatiels, Lovebirds, Quakers and other small to medium Parrots.
If you're changing your bird's diet from a seed based one, then it is advised to complete a dietary program of High Potency (see product 5803) for a period of 6 months first.
We would recommend a veterinary health check prior to changing your bird's diet.

this has kept my parrot very well for several years and i and i am confident it is better than the other things i have fed her in the past like the fact that it is served miost, so she cant throw it abot as as easily as with other dry foods like hagen troppi mix,i also feel safer feeding my parrot organic food as iworry about preservatives in parrot food and added suger this food takes longer to spoil than high potancy pellets because thers less protien .i have a five year old indian ringneck i feed her fresh vegtables and sprouts and fuit additionaly.

My budgies and grass parakeets took to this straight away, but I do have quite a few so I think the more adventurouse ones encourage the timid ones.( Babies are better with extra fine formula). This, and the high potency formula forms their main diet and they're very healthy and bouncy..There's also the added bonus of it being cleaner than seed, but my birds still like to have seed occassionally as a treat in a foraging tray.

I like to mix pellets with a good quality seed mix to ensure my 2 'teils are getting all their nutrients. They seem to really enjoy these pellets, especially because they aren't as big as some other pellets on the market.

Got this for the little lovebirds, bland looking but they at least eat it.

I've been using Harrison's Birdfood almost a year now, and my birds are very healthy and happy. It takes time to get them used to it for some. But you can starve them for a few hours and they will eat them.I recommend Harrison's. but just pellets isn't enough, you might want to give them fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables as well.
