My Senegal loves his birdie bread, all the flavours are great. I add a few ground up complete foods to the mix, thus ensuring he eats some of the things he is supposed to!

My ringneck goes mad for this and so do my budgies, I added tops parrot pellets for small hook bills to convert my budgies onto this diet and it was successful! I fed often during one week and now my budgies are converted onto pellets, now I feed once every 2 weeks and they all love it!

I dont often write reviews for items but I felt compelled to for this Original Bird Bread - My Macaw loves Harrisons Pellets so this was a safe bet, and sure enough she loves it! Perfect afternoon snack. I wanted to try my 14 year old cockatiel with it - she only ever eats seed and a nibble of brown toast, and has developed arthritis from this poor diet and lack of a UVB lamp...which means her left leg is next to useless. To my surprise, she LOVES this bread! I give it to her twice a day as it has more nutrients than her seeds, and despite it seeming costly, I will continue to buy it regularly as it is such a relief to get her eating anything other than seeds !!!Thank you Harrisons, and thank you Northern Parrots - your service cannot be beaten !

As this is still quite high in millet, I only use as an occasional snack for my budgie. I cook up the lot as a loaf, then cool, slice and freeze. I then can thaw and give as a treat for my budgie who loves it.

Been buying this for a few months now and my wee boy Blue loves it! Pretty simple to make and once baked you can cube it up and store in the freezer. Its also a great way of administering antibiotics or vitamin supplements as the bread once baked is very absorbent. I used this when my ringneck became ill and this product along with his antibiotics was instrumental during his recovery. You can also add a few extras to the mix, I mainly add a few extra seeds, etc. I highly recommend this product.

My grey devoured a piece of bird bread nearly immediately, after first eyeing it suspiciously. It was very easy to bake and smelled very nice when it came out of the oven! I also added some carrots and a teaspoon of Parrot Palm Fruit Extract. I am trying to convert her to a Harrison's pellet diet and I hope it will be easier now that she has gotten a taste for the bird bread. Highly recommended!

Our African grey did not like this one at all but then he is extremly fussy and dont like trying new things.Even thou he dont like it I would say that it smell really nice and very easy to make.I think most "normal" parrots would like it.Downside is I found it rather pricey for what it is
