Because birds can be intolerant of artificial pesticides, fertilisers and preservatives, Harrison's Bird Foods have developed the first and only 100% Organic bird food.
The ingredients are premium whole grains and are approved for human consumption.
High Potency is recommended for…
Birds being converted from a seed-based diet. Birds being converted from any other diet. Feed for a period of at least 6 months before transitioning to Harrison’s Adult Lifetime.
Cockatiels, Budgies, Finches and Canaries as a year-round diet.
Birds that are moulting, overweight, underweight, very active, housed in a cold climate, recovering from illness, affected by liver or kidney disease.
Birds that are weaning – feed for at least 6-9 months.
Birds that are breeding – Ideally feed for 2 months prior to the breeding period and until chicks are weaned, or for at least 6 months before resuming Harrison’s Adult Lifetime.
We would recommend a veterinary health check prior to changing your bird's diet.

This is the perfect food if you really care about what is going into your parrots body. Can even pull your bird back to health if under the weather as there are different courses to choose from.

I decided to change my seed junkie cockatiels to a pelleted diet after having to have one of them put down who developed an cancerous tumour - the bird in question was a picky eater with a passion for sunflower seeds and therefore did not choose a balanced diet. My birds took to this formula straight away without any problems much to my surprise and within a few months I noticed an improvement in their plumage and energy levels. I still give seeds occasionally as a special treat which they relish. Would highly recommend the super fine grade for cockatiels.

Ive been a devoted customer of Zupreem for many years. I recently purchased their fruitblend product for my cockatiel chick who Ive raised. There was so much wastage so I thought Id try Harrisons. The superfine version of this pellet resembles millet so its very easy to trick your bird into trying it. Both my tiels stuff this like its going out of fashion! More fool me, now I have to buy Harrisons as they wont touch anything else. The arguments about a pellet or seed diet will go on for all eternity. I have macaws, cockatiels, caiques and a cockatoo all on pellet and plumages are amazing. Check the ingredients and you will find that millet and sunflowers are included in Harrisons but with the added health benefits of all the vitamins.

I use this for my budgies but have to mix it in with seeds as they won't eat it otherwise. I have not been using it for long but have noticed a difference in the quality of two of my birds feathers since starting. I would recommend this product.
