Vita Nature Millet Sprays - 300g - Delicious Treat for Birds Reviews

4.5 Rating 41 Reviews
Read Northern Parrots Reviews

Loved by all birds and will keep your bird busy and active as they work their way through each spray removing the seeds.
Millet seed is a good source of magnesium and phosphorus and it's high in silica content, which is important for the nervous system, tendons, skin and nails.

I have had to buy these bags on a regular basis as my local pet shop where I used to buy millet closed down - a great shame as it was very good quality millet.I had to start buying the Vitakraft bags last year I think it was.I have to say the quality of these bags vary nbetween good solid fresh millet to the other end of the scale which is very quesitonable quality with that millet being blackened, stale and stringy looking and half the stalks bare!Sadly when I order 2 bags at a time on average I end up throwing away around two thirds of one bag because it it is absolutely dreadful.Really Vitakraft need to do considerably more to quality check what they are sending out to their customers! If I had a local pet shop or alternative I would not oder this product but sadly I have no alternativeMy advice is if you can buy locally do so

I give my budgies bits of this, helps with bonding! I wont leave a full piece in the cage anymore, as they start destroying it instead of eating. Good quality!

Comes with a hanger that fits nicely in between the cage bars, which is nice. Millet isnt terribly healthy, but I give it as a treat, for training or foraging, and my cockatiels love it. It is also how we introduced our two cockatiels. They bonded over their shared love of millet.

My tiels love this millet - only yellow, will not touch the red for love or money. And the Vita Nature one has a good amount for a good price - and they all look healthy and as fresh as they can be. No missing, dried out parts on these at all and I have maybe ordered this 5-7 times so far from this brand. Only problem is that the plastic on these is very thin - VERY THIN - so if its not properly packaged they explode in the box. And as the delivery comes in a cardboard box the seeds slip out of the little holes all over the house. This has happened to me a couple of times - but Northern Parrots are amazing - every time the damage has been really bad to the point where I lost too much to let it go and I have contacted them, they always apologize and send me a new one pronto.

Very good for the price you pay I have 2 parrotlets and 3 budgies who just cant get enough of these. When they are out of their cages and see me walking into my lounge with the bag of millets they all start chirping like mad getting louder than they usually are, I dont get the chance to get the millets out the back for them as they fly over to try and eat them from my hand. Parrotlets are the same when I open their cage to pop theirs into the free holder.you get with the packet they are over right away eating it from hand. Best packet of millets I have ever bought as to where I have any waste left on it my 5 little darlings eat every bit on it and just leave the stem. Good value for your money.
