Vitakraft Feather Care Treat Stick for Pet Birds & Parrots Reviews

Read Northern Parrots Reviews

Baked three times on a natural wooden stick and with no added sugar; this Vitakraft Feather Care Treat Stick is a useful treatment for your pet bird.
The treat has been lightly baked with three different layers, to keep the level of nutrition high. The outer core is the yummy seed mix, the middle core is the scrumptious biscuit layer and the inner core is chewable wood, great for keeping your bird's beak healthy and trim.
Hang the treat stick in your Parrot's cage during moulting season to improve the appearance of new feathers and encourage them to grow back quicker.
Every treat stick also contains cereals and seed that make the recipe even tastier for your Parrot.
Hang these sticks in your Parrot's cage, perhaps near a perch, to make mealtimes fun and accessible for your bird. If they are up for more of a challenge then hang the treat sticks away from their perch, encouraging them to exercise and find a more active way of reaching their treat.
There are two sticks in every packet, for double the fun for your bird.

Both of my lovebirds really liked these treats, they hung from them and ate away - a good treat that keeps them occupied when I know I have to leave them for a day. Keeps me confident that they will be happy, and I really noticed a difference in their feathers condition and shininess!

I didnt have much hope in these but since my indian ringnecks feathers have been looking awful recently due to moulting, I decided to give this a go. They really do work! His feathers look lovely and smooth. Another plus is that he really loved the taste of these! As soon as they went into his cage he walked straight over so he could eat them.

I hung this in my parrots cage in a convenient place for him to get used to it. As you can imagine for an African grey he avoided it like the plague, that was until I went to pick my children up from school. By the time I got home half an hour later he had demolished the lot! He then went on to pick through all the crumbs on the floor until he had eaten the vast majority of it. I was surprised by this as he is a very fussy eater, and I am still struggling to get him to eat his pellets, but he ate not only the sunflowers which I knew would be a hit, but also all the biscuit layer too. Easy to say that this was a massive hit for my parrot, and I still have the other one to hang in a more difficult place next time!
