“For several years I fed XtraVital Finch Food to my star finches. I soon became convinced that it was the best finch food I could find. With that in mind, I was eager to purchase XtraVital Vitamin Enriched Cockatiel Food for my conure. With recent trials to mind, I feel that this cockatiel/conure food is as good as any other prestige cockatiel/conure food such as Hagen Gourmet Cockatiel Seed Mix, for example. There are so many inclusions in the pack it is hardly surprising that this product pleases. This impressive quality may be why Northern Parrots often seem to be sold out.”

“I have used this product mixed in with regular seed mix for many years as it has a more varied mix of seeds and added vitamins and the birds love it and look very good on it. My birds have sweet corn, salad, celery and herbs as well.”

“Having had my cockatiel for 14 months I have finally found a food that he really seems to enjoy. I am fairly sure I have just about bought everything else available and all he ever did w as throw most of it on the floor. He has had a bacterial infection lately and it was a huge relief to have found a mixture that he would eat. I will be buying this one in future.”

“I wrote a review a little while back complaining about the internal packaging of this food, not the excellent quality of the food itself which has always been consistent, which was very flimsy and split easily. Now I see that the foil packaging is a lot stronger, so thank you Beaphar, for improving what is already a quality product! Northern Parrots as usual delivering with perfect efficiency too!”

“I have been using this product for a couple of years and it has been really good, however I just got a latest batch and virtually all the big seeds are gone as is most of the fruit bits and all that is left is cheap tiny seeds and frankly a lot of dust!!Maybe this is just a glitch but in future I may stop using this as their quality has gone straight downhill...”

“This was recommended a couple of years ago by a fellow cockatiel lover and I am so pleased that I tried it out. It smells and looks really fresh out of the foil package and my birds love it! Its got a great selection of seeds all of which my birds eat and the condition of my birds who are all old and rickety, has really improved. The one criticism I have is that lately, when I have opened the box, the foil package has split or not been sealed properly at the top and some, and sometimes a lot, of the seed has spilt out into the box. Whoever is packing the boxes before posting off the order must hear the seed rattling round the seed box but still includes it in the order. Its a shame because otherwise Northern Parrots packaging is very good. I will still order this seed and use Northern Parrots because, on the whole, I think they give excellent service.”

“Found this food and ordered some for my lovebirds, they took to the food straight away after being fussy about other seed packs. I have to say that this smells amazing, it is so fresh and fruity and my Momo and Willow always get so excited when it is feeding time.I thoroughly recommend this food if you have a small parakeet, and I am glad Northern Parrots have both size boxes in stock as I have struggled for a while to find somewhere to buy it. It seems sought after!”
