Quality food. I use this mainly as a supplement for extra variety. It’s smells and looks fresh so you know it will be good for your bird.

Have to say my bird did not like this product, it has a strong smell and am sure that was why, although they dont have a strong sense of smell it says a lot about how strong it is. Will be sticking woth what he likes from now on.

Brilliant. My cockatiel usually eats zupreem natural and he took to these pellets almost instantly. I just had to hand-feed him a few pellets while eating some myself to show him that its food. The taste is slightly minty and I imagine my tiel prefers these to the flavourless zupreem natural pellets. The size of the pellets is great too. It is equivalent to zupreem budgie size which is my tiels favourite size as he doesnt have to split them. The pellet is somewhat fatty though due to the wholesome ingredients so I will alternate feeding with with a low-fat pellet, zupreem, so my bird gets the best of both worlds. Im so pleased my bird is now able to eat peanuts, brown rice and tomato! Thank you Hari!

Now this is something the Teals like , i add it to other food, like egg cake and other grains and they love it. It a great thing to fool them into thinking there s no vitamins,as they are sooooo complicated....really really great stuff!!!! must try!!!!

I recently took on two young parrotlets that had previously been on a seed only diet. I wanted to move them on to fresh food and pellets and had thought it would take a while to get them to adjust to the change. I started off mixing seed in with the pellets but within a couple of days they were eating the pellets over the seed anyway. The smell is nice, like juicy fruits chewing gum, and the birds absolutely love them. I recently took the pellet bowl out for a couple of hours to try to get them used to a new fresh chop mix and when I put the bowl back in my baby boy did his silly wobble dance of happiness as he was so pleased to have them back!

I bought these for a change as I felt my cockatiels were becoming bored with the Harrisons extra fine pellets, but unfortunately, none of my 4 cockatiels have shown any interest in it at all, despite me offering it in their treat bowl which is normally their first port of call when hungry. I think it may be the bubblegum scent which is putting them off . They normally have an Australian seed mix in their treat bowl which has a eucalyptus scent which they enjoy. Bubblegum seems an odd scent to attract birds. I will try mixing this with the Australian seed mix to see if that helps, but dont think I will buy again.

My Cockatiel was previously on an all seed diet, due to the negligent previous owner. I attempted giving him fresh food, which he is downright SCARED of. I wanted him to get his nutrients, and found these granules. They smell great, like bubblegum. He was initially a bit scared of these, so I mixed them into his seeds, and he slowly took to them. Now he will go to a bowl with just these and no seeds, and go to town eating them. When he bites them, crumbs can shoot around. But its nothing major. If you are like me and keep the cage right next to your seat, you may get an occasional ping to the head or face. But its good for a laugh. I will continue trying to get my little buddy to accept fresh foods. But until then, Im really happy he enjoys these, and is getting better nutrition than he was from just seeds. Very happy with this product, and will continue giving him these as his main diet source.
