Wheat grass is known for its powerful antioxidant properties, great for stressed or moulting birds. Suitable for all birds from Finches to Macaws.
Wheat grass juice revitalizes and energizes humans, and it can do the same for companion birds. While humans must use a special press to extract the juice from wheat grass, Parrots have a built-in juice extractor: their beaks. They squeeze the delicious, nutritious juice from each blade, then discard the indigestible portion.
Comes in a food safe plastic tub that is dishwasher safe and reusable.

This grow your own wheatgrass is such a fun idea for birds! Its packed full of nutrients, and the live food is very healthy for all parrot species! My flock had a lot of fun investigating the wheatgrass, both in the tub and when we cut off strands for them to chew! The wheatgrass is especially great for cockatiels and budgies as they would naturally eat grasses in the wild. Some birds might be nervous at first if they aren't used to live foods, but you can tempt them over with some of their favourite treats! We will definitely be getting this again!
