Loved by Parrots, Palm Fruit Extract is derived from the natural food source of the African Grey Parrot, the fruit of the West African Palm.
Palm Fruit Extract comes in an unrefined state having only been cold pressed and filtered to remove solids left over from the pressing process.
It improves feather condition and colour and is also a useful dietary supplement for breeding birds.
Simply spread a small amount daily on your Parrot's food, or for an extra special daily treat spread the palm oil onto a piece of dry toast.

“Arrived quick.opened box to find the palm oil had leaked!! fortunately they were in a sealed bag so no damage to the rest of my order. Lids wasnt sealed tight!!”

“My amazon orange wing whom i had ownd for 25 years, does not like this palm oil, I purchased two one had the lid half unscrewed and both had palm oil all in the lid, there is no seal and it states use within 6 months off opening, but it was open? So i ask how long had they been exposed to the elements and were they stale?”

“Not quite sure if they like it yet but will keep trying as I am hoping it will help Millie to grow her feathers back and stop her plucking herself.. Could have done with it being packaged in a plastic bag and not wrapped in paper as the tubs leaked slightly to some of the other bits in the order”

“My picky CAG absolutely loves this. I easily converted her to a pelleted diet with the help of this oil. At the beginning, for every meal i soaked the pellets in fresh juice and made a soft puree. Then added a tiny bit of palm nut oil. She was very interested and i was sure she is eating enough to maintain her weight... From then on, i have introduced her new foods and also previously-disliked ones with a tiny amount of palm nut oil on top. And she is always ready to give them a try.”

“I love this stuff! My grey enjoys it and as he is underweight I feel it is doing him some good. I use a little of it smeared on his vegetables to try and get him to eat new foods and even got him eating pellets by tossing them in warmed palm oil. He will now eat broccoli due to this stuff! I do not know what I would have done without it! It does stain yellow though so do not worry if you think your parrot has suddenly come down with a severe case of jaundice, silly me! Luckily it does wash off easily”
