The SecuraCup is made for birds that love to empty their food on the floor. The twin wire spring clip holds the feeder securely in place; when you need to remove it just slide it round. You can remove or replace the bowl in an instant one handed.

“We were in a bit of despair as our African Grey Bubba recently got into the habit of upending his food and water bowls nearly every time that he saw us and wasn't let out of his cage - he is let out a lot but when you are trying to get out of the door to go to work etc it's not much fun when you hear 'kerching' and another load of food or water hits the floor. We searched the web and found these bowls at Northern Parrots and read the reviews - parrot owners with similar problems to us regarding the food bowls - and all Greys !! On that basis we ordered them and fitted them into Bubba's cage. Well, since then he hasn't been able to pull either of them out at all despite giving it his best efforts ! They are easy to get in and out for us but impossible for our little feathered rascal - so far - so good. If you also have a bird who loves to tip all his/her food out on a regular basis whenever you appear these bowls are possibly the answer. We are so pleased to have found something that actually works - well worth the money - they have probably paid for themselves by now taking into account how much food was wasted by Bubba upending it on the floor and us replacing it - I insisted although my husband was of the view to not replenish it for a while to try to make him understand (!) - so that caused a bit of conflict - as I know that birds need to get enough food regularly or they can go downhill quite rapidly. So happy household all round now. Well maybe apart from our feathered rascal who would still like to make his point !”

“These cups have solved the problem of our African Grey tipping his food and water bowls. Have had them for a few weeks now. The clip-in design is easy to get in and out but up to now has proved impossible for him to pull the cup out of the holder. Not cheap but worth the money.”

“After years of picking up dishes and sweeping up wasted food after Dillon my African Grey had gleefully upended the normal pots I purchased these a couple of weeks ago, and they are brilliant. Easy to slide in or out of the holder -( unless you have got a bird who is determined to stop you).Easy to clean too.Word of warning though - be prepared for a real temper tantrum when your bird finds out he can't throw it around”

“If you have a problem with your parrot throwing his bowls then this is the best buy you could make.My african was always tipping his bowl, sometimes within a couple mins of me putting the food in! We had so much wasted food and i was getting so frustrated. Found this bowl and it is brilliant! No way it can be tipped so your bird will have a tidy cage and you will no doubt save a fortune on wasted seed. In my opinion is the best product to solve a frustrating habit”
