Has your Parrot mastered all other paper shredding toys? If so it is definitely worth giving your Parrot the Shred It!
This hanging toy has one small slit in it, just enough for the end of the paper roll inside to poke through, how irresistible! A number of holes at each end allow your bird to grip the toy, stopping it from spinning on the chain.
You can then watch as your Parrot learns to pull the end of the paper roll and shred it all up, a great way to keep your bird`s beak busy and their mind entertained. To ensure the shredding never ends you can unfasten one end of the cylinder and add a Shred It! Paper Roll Refill to it.

“this is my boys favourite toy. I buy a pack of refills for it every few months. he never gets bored of shredding the paper. sometimes the roll does disappear inside it and I need to sort it out but I think thats probably because he gets pretty rowdy with it and throws it about. unrelated, but the review box will not allow me to type special characters or punctuation for some reason and I cant use the same nickname as I did for a previous review”

“My kakariki loves nothing better than to climb into a box and shred the contents, so I thought this toy would be a great way to challenge her shredding needs safely. So far she has nibbled at it but seems a little shy of ripping the paper to shreds. Maybe she is just too busy checking out all her new toys!”

“What a brilliant toy!! It didnt take my galah long at all to work it out and he plays and plays with it. It is a lot of fun for us to watch him pulling the paper out and taking it all around his cage. He enjoys chewing and playing with the acrylic too. The paper refills are not that expensive as they do last a good while but I understand that you can use calculator paper rolls too. If you are thinking of buying this then do, if your bird enjoys it half as much as mine then you will not regret it.”

“My bare eyed blue eyed cockatoo loves paper toys and this was no exception it was unrolled went for a trip around the cage and was then turned into confetti and posted out of the cage entertaining both him and myself for hours. Good job I have a vacuum cleaner.”

“My Conure doesn't touch the hundreds of pounds worth of toys I have bought him..none! I came home one day and saw he had shredded my newspaper but didn't want him to do it on the floor again, so I didn't hold much hope - but bought one and it is the single toy in the world he has ever taken interest in!”
