I bought one of these for my African grey and he eventually chewed it. It was his favourite toy and he could get the pieces out better than me. I really think he needs a new one. No other toy met his expectations. It amazed me how well he used it and how much time he spent playing with it as he never played with toys before I got him and he has many toys he wont look at. I am going to order another today while I remember

I have watched so many birds playing with this excellent toy, you can see the little brain cogs whirring as they try to work the blocks out from the toy and the enjoyment as they chew on their hard-earned reward. A great toy to engage their mind and problem-solving skills.....So I bought one for my Macaw, he was thrilled by the sight of it and Mr feathered-wrecking-ball could not wait to get a hold of those wooden blocks! I hung it up for him and watched to see how quickly he would score one!.... At first the usual working around the toy, trying to find a gap, then trying to grab a block in the holes...but he found his beak was a bit too big to be able to grab a block through the holes... Then the stressy happened... He swung the treasure chest against the cage, annoyed that he couldnt get a block and then suddenly CRACK! He had literally just grabbed the whole toy in his huge beak, squeezed hard and the whole thing burst open!! He was thrilled with himself because now he had all the blocks out in one go! I just facepalmed...For the fact that my boy destroyed the entire thing in minutes, I SHOULD probably give less stars, however I am all too aware that my greenwing has been known to be, and I quote from the reasons given by a bird toy manufacturer for removing him from their prototype toy testing scheme: a somewhat inaccurate representation of the average level of destruction caused by a greeenwing... Plus I have seen plenty of other birds including macaws enjoying this toy so it gets 5 stars!

I brought this toy for my Congo African grey at the think parrots 2015 show and was very pleased with my purchase. When I got home I introduced it to my parrot and she loved it! It can be used it different ways such as removing the wooden blocks and replacing with your parrots favourite food! This toy is challenging but not so hard you parrot will give up.

My Indian Ringneck Ringo is very hit and miss with toys and only really likes the foraging ones. This is his absolute favourite toy!Bought it as a Christmas present and he plays with it everyday.I put monkey nuts and other dry treats inside it with the wooden blocks. Ive broken down some of his other neglected wooden toys and put the pieces inside too to create a bigger challenge.I would 100 percent recommend this toy and it is excellent value for money.Ringo says Thanks

Bought this for my 2 year old grey and he loves it. He figures out what to do fast and he didnt waste any time getting the shapes out! I am constantly picking up the blocks and putting them back in again. Worth the money. Although I half expect him to break it before too long, I have caught him chewing the actual container too.
