This is the Parrot product that I have been searching for ever since I started keeping larger parrots about 15 years ago.I am using it with my Rosebreasted Cockatoo who was instantly willing on step up on it and act as a role model and demo model for my African Grey who is always scared of new things and needs lots confidence building. Hooray after only two days repeated step up practice both birds are confidently sitting on their two stands side by side nibbling treats. The tray of the percher collects discarded food debris and droppings perfectly.I particularly like the way the hand perch easily lifts in and out from the five legged base. But the most important reason that I have bought this product and that I recommend to other parrot owners is that it offers a safe familiar perch for my birds so that a surrogate caretaker may gain the confidence to handle an unfamliar parrot with no risk of getting nipped out of fear. This simple product may indeed enable me to eventually entrust the ownership of my beloved parrots to a younger caretaker as they will undoubtedly outlive me. - Something that has worried me and no doubt many other older parrot keepers.

This is a great little product. I recently got a new Cag who is a little unsure of me still. I can use this to get her out of the cage, without her being able to nip me then put it back into the stand so she can sit at the table with us. It catches any poops and as it is small and plastic can be washed in the sink without leaving any stains. Wish I had got one of these years ago!
