Keep your Parrot's natural foraging instincts satisfied with this amazing Food Tumbler Foraging Parrot Toy.
Add your Parrot's favourite food, treats and materials inside and then sit back and watch as your Parrot works at solving the puzzle.
The clear design allows your Parrot to see their rewards and plan the challenge ahead.
The food tumbler puzzle is solved by spinning the toy around until the food drops down the tube into the bottom section where your bird can receive their prize.
You can easily change the level of difficulty of this toy to encourage your Parrot to work a little harder for their treats by adjusting how far the tube is pushed into the tumbler.
The Food Tumbler Foraging Parrot Toy is made from strong, lightweight polycarbonate to ensure it lasts a long time. This also makes it easy to clean, ready for your Parrot's next meal.
Using this toy at mealtimes instead of a feeding bowl provides your Parrot with the mental stimulation their mind requires to stay healthy. Attach this toy to your bird's cage at mealtimes for instant foraging fun.

Hi Kirsty, thanks for your review. There is a compartment at the back where you add treats, then they full into the tube at the bottom.

Not sure if this arrived broken, I broke it, or it is just ineffective! Appeared to assemble nicely, fitted well on the bars, spun round.... and then the trouble started. It just spun off its thread continually. Fell off, Senegal was not impressed and I was not able to fix it so it was stable. This all occurred within 2 hours of receiving it and it is now in the plastic recycling........

My grey LOVED this but we only had it a few months when the thread cracked and broke off so it s now unusable. A great shame as its a great foraging toy.

Eventually our grey got the hang of this. She enjoyed digging out treats from inside. But being a grey, she soon took to trying to dismantle it! She ended up undoing the thread and the whole thing dropped on our tiled floor, smashing one of the sprockets off the back. So now I cant thread it back.

I thought this would be a great toy and was very disappointed to find that it doesnt fit between the bars of my Goffins cage. Her cage is huge and a Kings Cage so I am rather surprised. Other than that, it looks a great toy.Maybe add details of the minimum cage bar spacing required to the description?

The quality has varied between the 2 I have bought so far.We bought one of these and my African Grey LOVED it. he cottoned on straight away how to get treats out we only put dried food and nuts in - see other comments about cleaning - its fine for dried foods though. In fact I was filling it and he was emptying it so quick then losing interest. You can make it a bit harder for them but putting in round wooden balls with the treats. This slows mine down and keeps him interested - he has to spin it a few times as sometimes a wooden ball slides into the chute and he has to respin to try to get a treat. Our first, the plastic screw which goes through the cage bars snapped after a few months, so I ordered a replacement. The replacement however, wont spin properly. Its so much stiffer than the first we had and my grey is getting really frustrated at it. The only way he manages to spin it is by actually unscrewing it - and of course then it falls off the cage side after a few turns. Is there any way of loosening this so it will turn for him?
