my parrot does like to climb on it to get food out but it is too easy. he had worked it out within seconds. without the challenge it just makes for easy food and a fat parrot. foraging should tax the brain a little and the item was advertised to keep parrot guessing.i find it also to be flimsey and donot expect it to last very long.very disapointed i have not yet found a foraging toy that has an appropriate level of difficulty.

Unfortunately I was very dissapointed with this item. I bought it for my Grey. It feels flimsy. It does not spin freeley but catches half way around each time. Two of the little doors are too stiff for her to open and it feels as if she put her weight on it it would probably struggle to stay in position. Made of cheap plastic. Should cost about รบ5 in my view.It was not cheap and I have not given it to her as I dont trust it. Sorry but waste of money.

My LSC2 bit already two of the doors, and the toy is quite boring as the bird only opens the door and take out the treat. Not much fun for such an expensive toy. I bought almost every single foraging toy however this one was the only disappointment.

I wake up every morning at 6 from the screeching of this toy. One of the sliding door is so tight that even I can only get it open using all my strenght. But I use that one for her pellets and leave it open just enough to get one out with a little luck. My Eastern Rosella hasn't a large enough beak to use the knobs, I wish they were smaller. I will just not press the door all the way in or else she wouldn't stand a chance to open them. It would have been great if this toy was also made in a smaller beak version because it is a great toy and she loves it!!

The wheel itself is good, each door opens in a different way to keep it different each time. However, my main concern is the strength of it.Whilst with my senegal it will last a little while, the bigger birds would rip it to shreds in no time. Also, I had hoped to have it touching against the wall, however due to the clip, this is not possible. The disc on the clip interferes with the cage bars and it is not possible to put the screw on.This was with the Montana Finca Play Gym cage. The bits that are in the way are the extra bars to support the hold the poop tray for the play gym so not all cages will be affected.

I have a DYH Amazon that loves Almonds to the exclusion of all else if she allowed it so I knew she would be keen to seek out an Almond put in the carousel and that it would keep her busy . I put the carousel in her cage low down, as she prefers the higher perches and waited. It took her only 5 minutes to open each of the 4 compartments immediately and retrieve her reward. I was stunned but she loves this and now will flap the tops to make a noise to remind me they are empty. It is robust, stands washing in the dishwasher and gives her lots of fun.I tried it with another Amazon and a Grey but they were not impressed so it suits the lively, inquisitive birds that are hooked on their treats!

Figuring my Grey needs ever more challenges, I've filled it with all the things he wishes he could have all the time. Unsalted, roasted pistachios, pine nuts and opened walnuts in the shell. He only gets Harrison's pellets, so treats are usually much sought after. So far, nothing. Hence only 4 stars for now. It's well made and interesting and I look forward to him taking more of an interest. I feel his lack of interest is due to him having too many other new toys at the moment.

Well this scared my CAG and it took her 3-4 days to even go near it! However she has now mastered 2 of the drawers and is investigating the other two.I like the size as there is no need to ensure that the food is chopped up small(unlike the foraging wheel), and so varying foods/treats can be used.Although it has perches, I am unsure if the weight it would hold before breaking so I have positioned it near a perch.
