great treat dispenser for my needy corvid. he has all the doors figured out so it doesn't take him long at all to get into it anymore- I might try to tighten some of them to make it a bit more challenging. despite this, he still appreciates when I fill it up with different treats and it keeps him entertained for a little while. it feels very sturdy and I really like the way it attaches to the cage. it is a little hard to clean but that's no worry for me.

Each section on the feeder opens up differently! Its been absolutely fantastic for my greys, my Amazon took a little longer to figure it out but can use it now. I fill the sections up with shredded paper and hide treats or put their smaller fruits and veg in the sections. Sometimes I use toy parts from other toys to make it more challenging for them to get the treats! I feel its fab toy for medium sized to smaller parrots within reason as long as they can manipulate the lids on the boxes. The macaws at work can be a bit too rough with the toy. Very good value for money as you can clean it easily, its easy to fix onto the bars of the cage and its not wobbling on the bars like many toys and perches can. It keeps the birds busy and is reusable!

My bird is a kakiraki. All boxes have have small plastic door handle top to them. So theres 4 boxes, 2 of which are mildly easy to open one slides the other pivots off one corner. The other 2 open like a trap door one of which is quite tight. Im not sure if he ever get the hang of opening this one but hes pretty strong for a small bird. Carousel is soild plastic it takes is weight easily. It pain to wash and dry this ready for the next load of food. This will keep him a amused for a while yet!

I have had 2 of these foragers now for my African grey, and whilst I consider them to be suitable for its intended use, that use can only be for short periods. If you leave them in the cage they WILL be broken by any African grey over say 2 years, this forager is simply not strong enough, it snaps off between the shaft and securing plates after very little use, and since they are not cheap at nearly 30 pounds a time, i wont be replacing this for a third time, instead my Grey will have to now forage from it whilst it sits on the floor of the cage. A good product but let down by a flimsy build, and being way too overpriced.I do recommend the product but only for very light weight birds, not adult Greys or similar. My Grey climbs all over it and enjoys the forager, unfortunately like I said, the forager is not strong enough to cope with neither his sharp and strong bill, nor his weight and enthusiastic playing with the forager.

Got this for my amazon as he enjoys foraging for his food.Took him a while to figure out how each of the doors work but he is straight down to it now when I fill it up.There is however one door that is a lot harder to open, even I have trouble opening it, so I have to leave it partially open for him.Fairly easy to clean and seems very sturdy as my parrot sits on it when he is eating from it (ignoring the perch next to it) and it is still going strong!

Although Kiwi hasn't played with it yet he will certainly have fun with it and it will keep him amused trying to get the treats.
