The Foraging Wheel is one step up from the entry level Foraging Sphere Toy. It attaches to the side of the cage with ease. The wheel has prongs which fit in the gaps of the cage bars. Once positioned you screw the nut part on.
The wheel has five compartments, watch as your bird has to spin the wheel to collect their treats from the small hole at the front. If your Parrot is new to foraging toys, let them watch you place the treats inside.

“I went to attach this to my greys cage ...I tightened the screw on top on the plastic threads and went just a tad too far and they just snapped off so couldn connect it to the cage ...hence its never been used . Prob my fault but wasnt with major force”

“Problem Is that what I cant do is that having taken it apart to clean I cannot put the pieces back together because the screw doesnt seem long enough what but I know itlong enoughs that because it has fitted originally so what am I doing wrong please?”

“We love this foraging wheel for our green cheeked conure except we have now bought 3 of them and they have all broken. The weak point is the plastic screw that holds the wheel to the cage. Everytime the same bit breaks and we end up super gluing it to increase its lifespan! We did email about this with the 3rd wheel that had done the same but were told as we had the product a year it was too long. Fair point except it had only lasted a year thanks to super glue, the reality was it broke after a few weeks.If that part of the design was strengthened we would definitely buy another one but quite simply not worth it currently, especially as there are similar, cheaper products with better connections available.”

“My African Greys love unsalted cashews and we put one in each section - gets them back in their cages at the speed of light or flight! Going to get a third, so as to keep one for cleaning purposes.”

“This is so easy to fill and t fix to your birds cage well worth the money and give your bird some thing to do .It is strong and will stand up to a lot of punishment .I would give it a 5 star rating .”
