Keep your Parrot, not to mention children and other pets, occupied for hours with a Birdy Babble Ball. This interactive Parrot toy can help teach your bird to talk with an array of words, short phrases and sounds, like "pssst," "meow," "squeak, squeak" and many more.
Hang this Birdy Babble Ball in your Parrot's cage or on their play gym stand using secure fitting pear link provided and watch as the inquisitive nature of your bird takes over.
Your bird has to learn how to activate the sounds, which is achieved by knocking the ball with their beak or against the cage bars, a perch or another object. The tough casing is designed to take whatever your Parrot can throw at it, or even whatever your Parrot throws it at.
The range of sounds helps to retain your bird's interest and the degree of repetition ensures they hear each sound regularly enough that it helps train them to talk.
The Birdy Babble Ball turns off automatically once your bird has finished playing; prolonging the battery life so your bird can enjoy many hours of fun.
It is no wonder this toy has fast become a favourite with many a Parrot and owner too.

Although the product is good and my parrot loved it, it only lasted him 2 days before he broke it and I couldnt hang it up again causing him to play with it at the bottom of his cage and eventually bringing it up to the top and dropping it in his water so now it doesnt work at all, very disappointing for the price.

I purchased a Babble Ball for my African Grey Ziva and she loves playing with it. She normally takes ages before she will play with a new toy but she dived straight in and its her favourite will have to buy 2 more for my other 2 Parrots Amy and Boris.

Within 20 minutes my African grey had detached the ball from the chain. Luckily I had a strong cup hook which I used to screw into the ball and re attach to the chain. Now he spends many minutes swinging it about.

I got one of these for my cockatiel. He loved to play with it and swing from it but unfortunately he wasnt strong enough to setthe noises off! I ended up taking it out of the cage and then setting off the noises for him by playing with it on the coffee table with him and he enjoying meowing to it. Perhaps better for larger birds.

Our African Grey loves this little ball... not only copying many of the sounds but also simply the fact it reacts to any playful prodding and swinging!

I think this product would be good if you have a strong bird, mine is just an Indian Ringneck and he isn't that strong to give it a decent enough whack. It has various random noises which I produced by whacking it against a wall, he seems interested in the noises but can't do it himself so he doesn't really bother with it.
