Stacks of Shredding - Large - Wood & Cardboard Parrot Toy Reviews

4.9 Rating 34 Reviews
Read Northern Parrots Reviews

This popular toy from the Zoo-Max range offers opportunities for your Parrot to enjoy both chewing and foraging.
Threaded and stacked high, your Parrot can enjoy chewing away at all the coloured wood and corrugated cardboard slices to keep their beak healthy and trim.
The corrugated cardboard slices have loads of places for you to hide small treats, push seeds or bits of food or anything else you can wedge into the holes at various levels around the toy.
Your bird can then set to work, searching for, finding and retrieving their rewards using their natural foraging skills and keeping their clever mind active.
Placing treats at various heights promote your bird to climb, keeping them active, fit and healthy for many hours.
Sisal rope runs through the centre of the toy, but sections have been left exposed at the top and bottom for your Parrot to preen. Having materials to preen on can help reduce unwanted feather destructive behaviours, keeping your feathered friend looking fantastic.
Use the metal pear link provided to quickly and securely fasten this Stacks of Shredding - Large to your bird's cage or play gym stand.

Best toy ever, last a bit longer than others and she seems to concentrate in destroying it forgetting I will be leaving her room so less screams.

As with all toys treated by Nelly with suspicion and ignored for 2 days. When she finally accepted it it was demolished in a truce! Sign of a good parrot toy which should not be indestructible good for trimming beak and provides hours of entertainment highly recommended for my CAG. Have also bought mediu version for my Quakers and conures they love them too

I buy one of these every other month or longer for my two greys Scarlet and Violet. After the initial OMG ITS SCARY AND NEW has worn off they love it lol.its huge and size large is perfect for greys, and even with them both at it will last a couple months as they are not focused just on that with the other toys they have too. When its stripped bare keep the coloured sissal rope it came threaded on and hang it as preening rope in the cage or add it to a java play stand wrapped tight from branch to branch and they love hanging off it.

We have been buying this toy from Northern Parrots for years. My grey absolutely loves this toy. Sometimes , he can destroy in a matter of days, other times he takes his time. Ether way I know he enjoys himself and this and this is one of his favourite toys. My only comment it that sometimes not everytime we buy one, the wood splinters and that worries me that he will hurt himself. I always make sure I removed from his cage if it is not play play time.

they all love this however I would not leave them on there own with this as the wood splinters and I cut my fingers on spikes after chewed by parrots. They have mega fun with this but if I left them I would worry if they fell on a spike or even splinters
