This Nutcase - Bird Safe Rubber Foraging Toy for Parrots is shaped like a giant peanut and the holes are the right size to fit treats your bird enjoys.
The bird safe rubber is very durable and you can push a wide choice of materials and foods inside, creating your own strong chew or foraging toy.
Change the contents regularly to keep your bird entertained for hours. In the wild your Parrot would naturally forage for food in this way and it helps to keep them mentally stimulated.
Your Parrot may also enjoy swinging around on the Nutcase, giving them lots of exercise through play.
Use the metal pear link provided to quickly and easily fasten this Nutcase to your bird's cage or play gym stand.

I bought this for my African Grey to encouage him to forage. He had the thing torn open in less that a day and it is now useless for what I bought it for. Maybe its more suitable for smaller birds.

I have had a couple of these but my african grey parrot likes to chew and has managed to destroy a couple of these quite quickly.

Thiswasareally popular purchase - and still is!Initial my 14 week old African Grey struggled to get to the contents (which I had put in - wooden balls and monkey nuts) - but soon figured how to crack open the nuts through the NutcasI'm now putting in different contents for variety - such as cut up strips of yellow pages and destroyed crunchy balls - they have also been enjoyed as an added difficulty in the foraging processShe hangs from the Nutcase upside down in her cage foraging, so I know she loves it

This is my fourth of these. Very useful to keep the birds busy winkling out the peanuts but they don't last for ever - otherwise I would have given it five stars.

Our cockatoo launched into this with gusto to get to the peanuts. Loves it and keeps her happily occupied!

My Amazon Oscar ignored this the first day. He then set about enlarging the holes just to gain easier access to the peanuts and dried banana inside. As long as it amuses him and keeps him quiet i suppose it was worth the money!

I found this great for my little Goffins too although she chewed the bottom off it in a day so not very tough at all, but I can still use it for sticking beans, chewable sticks through the holes. So not a bad product but I don't think I'll buy another one.
