Ole Senior Bird Kabob - Chunky Chewable Parrot Toy Reviews

4.6 Rating 14 Reviews
Read Northern Parrots Reviews

Totally irresistible, the soft inner core begs to be shredded.
The shreddable inner core is protected by a harder `bark`. The Ole Senior Bird Kabob has pre-cut holes, allowing your bird to get a good start with their shredding adventure.
Please Note: Colouration of the wood may vary based on the environmental conditions during the growing and drying cycle. Also due to the potential presence of an omnipresent organism (A.Pullulans) which is killed during the baking process.

If your bird is a shredder and loves demolishing cardboard boxes and unfortunately skirting boards! This is the toy for them. I'd recommend the larger senior kabob for medium birds up, mines an African Grey. On a good day she'll demolish half of one of these logs. Great exercise too. They are quite expensive, but there's nothing my parrot prefers and enjoys more, and it's cheaper than new skirting boards!

I bought this for Ruby my African grey. Its bigger than i thought and she really loves tearing it to peices. Keeps her entertained for ages and keeps her away from chewing my curtains. So for that i give it 5 stars.

My grey ignored this for months, so I made some holes with a chopstick and hid bits of nut & cedar nuts inside. He then got the hang of it, and it's now largely demolished! A great chewing/ foraging combination, although the large size is quite expensive, I'll definitely be getting another.

My Grey is a little shy at looking at new things, so he has not been near it yet, i think its a little bigger than he is used to !Sure in time he will try this and like it to chew on.
