Bird Kabob - Mini - Natural Parrot Toy Reviews

4.7 Rating 26 Reviews
Read Northern Parrots Reviews

Shreddable chunks of Agave (cactus wood) have been threaded and knotted onto a length of sisal rope. This totally irresistible natural material is loved by pet birds all over the globe.
This Bird Kabob - Mini Natural Parrot Toy is excellent for smaller beaks, and hanging it up in your bird`s cage provides them with a fun, natural and safe material toy they can really get their beak into.
Shredding and pulling pieces off as your bird climbs and swings around followed by chewing them all up is just great fun and it helps to keep your bird from becoming bored.
Please Note: Colouration of the wood may vary based on the environmental conditions during the growing and drying cycle. Also due to the potential presence of an omnipresent organism (A.Pullulans) which is killed during the baking process.

Wonderful chewing material, and its quite easy to cut some little holes in it to hide treats. My lovebird enjoys it immensely.

For such a simple toy, my 2 cockatiels Timon and Pumba absolutely love this! They cant stay away from it. I put three of the kebob pieces on a veggie skewer and they have destroyed it all within the week, I will definitely be purchasing more of these once they have laid waste to the rest! Thank you Northern Parrots.

Our birds do like playing with this.Good tough chunks which take them ages to destroy. This is the second one we have bought, the first lasted several months.

Well when this arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see it was nice and small, ideal size for a micro parrot! The only thing I do not like about this was the fibre it was strung together with as I am not sure it was natural and it looked like a choking or toe trapping hazard, also there was no clasp to hang it from the cage by. But, being the enterprising sort that all pet owners have to be I cut the rope off and put the wooden discs on a metal kebab skewer which means I can attach it to the cage like a perch.Pickle usually takes a little while to trust a new toy or perch but he was happily killing this within a few minutes of being introduced, like the tiny psychopath he is.Thumbs up for the wood but thumbs down for the string.

Thank you Amber and Pickle for your review, We're glad to hear Pickle took to this mini bird kabob in no time. They certainly are good fun to shred and chew. We've double checked with Bird Kabob and they have confirmed that they use sisal rope to hold their toys together. As you mention ropes can be hazardous and we recommend any rope material is routinely checked and maintained. Using a metal kabob is a great idea and one we're sure other Parrot owners will find useful.
