My kakariki loves these. I break them into four so they are a better size for her - they will last longer too! She loves taking them out of her toy box and flying with them to a comfortable perch to chew. If she drops them, she jumps down and fetches them again. She has great fun.

These are a perfect size for small birds but I think they are a bit too tightly rolled and my green cheek was not very interested. I have cut some in half and pushed pony beads on and now he is more interested, but he still cannot seem to shred them !

I once bought some paper sticks elsewhere for my macaw that were exactly as these were described, pencil-thick sticks that were perfect for unwinding and shredding and he loved doing it. one stick would keep jim busy for hours. However these ones are much thinner than I was expecting given that they are described as Large, they are basically just lollipop or cakepop sticks! My Macaw did not peel them at all, just snipped them to pieces in seconds.

Hello, I am sorry you were unhappy with the size. We will look to see if they can be improved to make them bigger and more suitable for shredding.

Our cockatiels love these. They're great for keeping them occupied when they're out of the cage, and for using as toy making parts. We push them through vine balls, and our birds love to chew them, and pull them out. If we unravel one slightly, Lofty will chew and unroll the whole thing. Great foraging rewards too.

My spoilt parrot was not in the least bit interested in these sticks. In fact she took them from me and looked at them in disgust - then me - and just threw them onto the ground. I think they need to be more paper/cardboard like to gain a parrots interest to want to destruct them?
