A Happy Snuggle Hut Medium provides your Parrot with a secure and safe place to hideaway in should they want to for a little while.
Parrots are prey animals, and it is natural for them to run (well fly) and hide whenever they feel unsafe or threatened. With a Happy Snuggle Hut Medium in their cage, they have somewhere to retreat to whenever they need, helping to reduce stress.
Your Parrot's Snuggle Hut Medium comes with two pear links to secure it to the cage bars. There's one opening at the front, so your bird can really snuggle inside to keep warm or out of sight.
The floor has been fitted with a solid base; so your bird can feel confident landing at the entrance, and the inside walls are lined with a black fabric to help create a darker feeling space.
Please note the colours and fabrics used may vary from the images shown. Not recommended for long-tailed Parrots.
During the breeding season, it is advisable to remove your bird's Snuggle Hut Medium for a while, in case it triggers nesting behaviours.

“Got 2 of these for my Linealated Parakeets. Couple of days in had to cut one bird out wit his claw stuck in stitching on inside seam . Couple days later same thing . This time was all around leg foot . Had to destroy hut to get to bird . Managed to get all thread off . Unfortunately had caused a bit of damage . Bird lost all but 1 rear claw . Lucky we caught it and it wasnrt over night . Please steer clear of these .”

“I bought this for my African Grey thinking it would be a lovely hideaway. He absolutely hates it and wont go near it. However if your parrot likes to hideaway I would recommend the product as it is well made and good quality.”

“My little Conure got his head stuck in a small hole at the back of the hide, I had to cut open the material to release him thankfully he will be ok Im just thankful I was home when he was screaming. I only bought this January and he only started going in a few days ago wont be buying another I understand birds can chew but from what I can see Alfie had found this hole and decided to stick his head in but couldnt get it out, from now on I will be checking everything in great detail”

“I found this to be a little too small for my cockatiels. Also, the black hoops are coming off, even though the hut has barely been used. There is also a whole in the seam already.On the upside, its really soft and I wish I they were made in human sizes, lol.”

“I am so glad I bought this item. I bought one for my cockatiel but she doesnt like confined spaces, but I keep it in her cage as she does like to climb over it! Then I got a Kakariki and bought one for him and he adores it! Sometimes he sleeps in it, sometimes he clambers over it and sometimes he gets inside and thrashes around LOL.”

“I bought this for my 1 year old Boru parrot and at first he wouldnt go in it but after throwing a few of his toys in he now hops in with no hesitation he loves it when the lights go out hes in bed awwww easy to clean as well great buy”

“Good points. It has a back and my conure likes itBad point. Unfortunately had to wait over a month for stock to be in and wish I hadnt The black material that holds the hut onto the metal fasteners has already frayed and despite tying several knots in it realise that it wont last much longer. He has had it about 3 weeks and it wont last another 3. I will have to see if I can sew something on somehow to hold it up!!!! This is my first gripe with northern parrots as I have had nothing but great products and service from them over the last few years”
