“Parrot was rescued & had long over grown nails & a cracked beak his nails are down n beak in lovely condition now because he rubs it in on this since his had this perch & the other larger one I purchased a few mths ago”

“This perch is very well made and attaches firmly on the cage bars without moving. I have lots of different styles and thickness of perches for my green cheek conure, and this is one of his favourites. I bought this bigger one, which is meant for larger birds, as it means the tips of his nails will definitely touch the surface. I recommend you put it where it wont get messed up because it can be difficult to clean this type of perch, as it is best not to wet them too much.”

“I have tried the concrete pedi-perches, this product, natural branches and the Sandy Perches. I wish I could say this is as good as any other, but the sand is significantly rougher to the touch than on the Sandy Perches. I have already heard of people having to take Sandy Perches away from their bird at times because of the wear on their parrots feet, so with how much rougher this is I can not imagine it being healthy in the long run. Unfortunately I will be sticking with the Sandy Perches in the foreseeable future for this reason, and do not recommend this product. Apart from the excessive roughness it seems well put together and the sand does not come loose, so if you make sure to inspect your birds feet daily this perch can still be an option to consider.”

“My Hahns Macaw Arnie loves this. Its situated at the front of his cage. Loves to rub and tap his beak on it and sits hours eating, and playing with his toys on this too. Solid perch and good size for my macaw highly recommend it. Long lasting had had this product before Christmas and still got the sand coating on the perch trust me he uses it a lot!Will be buying some more in the future”
