As with all Java Trees only around one in every hundred trees are chosen to ensure they are the right size, shape, texture, strength and appearance to make these delightful Parrot trees.
Each Java Midi Tree Natural Hardwood Parrot Stand is debarked, cleaned, hand-sanded and oven-baked for a month. Then a base is constructed to match the size and shape of each unique tree.
The tree is sawn near the crown and fitted with stainless steel rods and tubing so you can safely and securely slot the two parts back together in seconds.
Made from real coffee trees; each one is totally unique. Although the wood used is extremely hard they are not indestructible and are not sold as such. Although Java can split when drying like any wood, this is not a fault, merely an indicator of the hardness, your Parrot certainly won`t mind.
