“We love this toy box. It’s so incredibly sturdy. We had previously bought MDF boxes and all had broken after only a couple of weeks use. It’s a great size, not too big but not too small—there’s amble storage for all our daughter’s toys. And it’s strong enough to be used as a seat too. The hinges are not ideal. Most other toy boxes on the market come with soft close. This instead comes with a hinge that propels the lid open. While pretty handy, it does mean that it requires some force to close. And this results in the lid slamming. Fine for adults, but not ideal for kids. I am expecting a few trapped fingers and with the weight of the lid that’s going to be quite painful. Unfortunately our box did arrive with some damage. There was a reasonably large scratch on the front of the lid. Luckily, we were able to just turn this round so it’s not visible. And there are also a few scratches and chips to the paint which is a shame. We liked the box so much we couldn’t be bothered to faff with a return, but these bits of damage were disappointing considering the cost. If you’re looking for a sturdy solid toy box, then I can’t recommend this enough. But if you need something that’s going to be safe for little hands you may want to give it a miss.”

“We bought this as a present for our son’s first Christmas (also a bit of a present to ourselves as it looks so good in our front room!!) it was a slightly tricky for my partner to put together (I heard lots of swearing from upstairs!) but it was worth it. It is very well made and looks so good in our living room! We are very happy with it and I’m sure our son will be when he’s old enough.”

“Beautiful and timeless toy chest which has excellent storage and made of good quality wood. The only fault I have is that it is not soft close, which could potentially hurt little fingers. However, I intend to purchase something to stop it closing completely.”

“The toy box arrived quickly and looks great however the building of this was quite poor. 2 of the screws provided broke while I was trying to assemble it. I contacted Nöa and Nani and I am awaiting their reply. Hopefully they will provide more so I can finish building it.”
