“Lovely box but putting the lid on was a nightmare! The spring/ support was very very awkward to place in position, the instructions were not clear. Thought I had it on correctly tried to close and it split the wood on the back panel. Fortunately where I work I was able to get help from competent engineers who were able to repair the back panel and fix the spring / support. Had I not had this assistance the lid and box would have been useless. Thankfully it is now sorted and I like it. It seems I am not the only one this happened to as one of my colleagues had bought the same toy box and had the same thing happen in that instance he complained and you sent out a new back.”

“Great looking toy box really feels quite solid as a small seat too! Well finished and easy to put together. Only complaint is the screws to assemble the spring loaded safety hinge I don’t think are up to the job. First use of it after assembly the pressure from the spring burst 3 of the 4 screws out breaking the pre-drilled holes. I filled the holes with wood shavings and glue and re-attached using glue to bond the plate of the hinge to the wood panels. Working great even after our little ones vigorous play… Would buy again!”

“Good sized Toy Box, easy to assemble, sturdy bit of furniture Comes with Grey cushion, which I intend to cover with a prettier fabric I like the side handles fior moving aroundl. Overall, great piece at a decent price”

“Bought this for my grandson. His mum and dad opened it and put the item together. They are extremely pleased with the toy box and said it will take him through later life as somewhere to store educational books and suchlike”
