My 1 year old's speech therapist recommended getting a valve free straw cup for him and we had real trouble finding one he can use himself and that the straw stays in as he was endlessly pulling it out- and we found the perfect cup! Love the designs too as does he. The handles on the side are perfect so he can hold the cup and the weighted straw adds to the ease of him feeding himself as it prevents so much air getting up there! “Lovely transition cup, looks great and the handles are easy for little ones to hold.
Just a slight frustration that if you fill it to 7oz (the highest marking) a lot of the liquid spills straight out of the straw once the top is screwed on. Not a problem for water, but messy with milk.
It would also be great if there was option to buy a straw cleaner with the cup (in a bundle). Unfortunately the straw cleaners were sold out when I got the cup.
The lid is great, and good for taking the cup on the go.”
