“I thought these would be easy clean and child friendly but they come with a massive sticker on that doesn't come off properly and now a section of each mat is all gummy and a pain to clean. Expensive and ice found much better quality in IKEA now.”

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a problem removing the label from your placemat. It should come off with hot soap water, but failing that then a bit of nail varnish remover or lighter fluid will fetch it off straight away.
