Hi Panos, Thank you for your review on our Brazil nuts in shell. However, it’s a little disappointing to hear that you found 20% inedible, even though we are nearing the end of last season’s crop, and expect the odd bad nut, this still seems ridiculously high. Brazil’s in shall are hard to source, not only in the UK but also most of Europe. This is due to the fact crops are limited, and suppliers like Bolivia, Peru, and Brazil can all make more money from suppling shelled Brazil’s to the world – so naturally they are discouraged from selling any in-shell nuts. The only reason we can purchase in-shell Brazil’s is because of the large quantities of shelled Brazil’s we also purchase, enabling us to ship-in smaller quantities of in-shell nuts with other container loads throughout the year.
