Dear Raymond, Thank you for your review, however, we are deeply disappointed that you felt the need to leave a 1-star review without contacting us first. We sell thousands of walnuts in shell on a regular basis, rarely have any issues due to the fact all ours walnut in shell are current crop, and of the finest Californian red diamond variety. Any kind of complaints for this product is most unusual, however, as a natural product in shell it's impossible to remove every imperfection during processing. Had you contacted us we would have offered you a full replacement, or issued a full refund, and arranged collection of the walnuts for testing. Regards, The Natural Choice Team
