“I first tried these in the 1980s. My first wife and I used to buy them from Arjuna a whole food cooperative on the Mill road in Cambridge. They are sweet and chewy. Good exercise for the jaws.”

Hi Sue, Thank you for your review, Hulled/cleaned tiger nuts do tend to be sweeter and less chewy than regular tiger nuts. This is due to the fact some of the outer husk is removed in the hulling process leaving more of the sweeter white part and less of the earthy and chewy husk. Kind regards, HBS Natural Choice Team

Hi Avinoam, We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy our Organic Tiger Nuts. In fairness, Tiger nuts can be an acquired taste, the hard fibrous and earthy texture isn't for everyone. However, the high fibre and sweetness makes this product very popular with some individuals. Soaking or grinding tiger nuts can make them more palatable. Kind regards, The Natural Choice Team
