“I put the topper over a firm mattress. The topper is both 'forgiving' and firm. It is also very warm -- I suspect it will be too warm in the summers. I think it also made my bed a bit too soft so I've removed the topper and use it as a spare bed sitting directly on tatami mats (it's amazing on those). I was thinking about returning it within my 30 days but wasn't sure I could be bothered with the repacking and sending. So, I will see!”
