“I bought this topper because I was waking with a painful back on our new firm mattress. It would get better over the day and then wake me the next morning again. My husband loved the firm mattress as he was sleeping so much better. I think I was expecting miracles, having read the reviews on line. It felt lovely but I was still waking with a stiff back, although it was better. However, after two weeks, everything has settled down and my back is no longer a problem in the morning. So worth persevering and am very happy now!
