“After very many years of using Hungarian Goose Down Duvets (oh, the luxury!) I decided the financial, environmental and humanitarian cost of replacing an aged, leaking one was too high. Panda bamboo had the ideal credentials. I opted for the Scandinavian model of two single duvets on our Superking bed, and have to say I could not be happier. My husband is taking a bit longer to enjoy the ‘experiment’. The duvets are very lightweight, but take a lot longer to ‘warm up’. I really miss the ‘loftiness’ and enveloping cuddle of down, and the duvets look very flat on the bed when made, which I think looks less luxurious and inviting. I am sleeping so much better, with a clear conscience, however, so I will put up with the flat appearance for now. Whether my husband will come around remains to be seen. I do recommend them, and am so pleased I made the switch, as I am sure are the Hungarian geese!”
