“The bedding does feel lovely however any cream or facials you do before bed end up all over the sheets and pillowcase. I feel like I need to wash it every day.”
“Whilst the bedding is lovely quality, soft, cosy and has a luxurious feel. After having this bedding for a couple of years, due to two reasons I am not a 100% satisfied. One the buttons are too bulky for the fastening holes on the duvet cover, really takes some getting through. And two the material doesn’t quite sit snug to the size of duvet it says it is for, making it stringy, baggy at the top whilst sleeping and moving around. It now has rips and tears where the buttons and button holes are, which I am pretty sure is the result of the two stated irritants/faults of this product.
For the price I paid, I expected this bedding to last for many years! Never has any bedding I have owned ever done this before.
The pillow cases are lovely and great to rest your head on. No issues with the fitted sheets. And the waterproof mattress protectors are great and wash really well with no shrinkage, as I have previously experienced with other brands.
But unfortunately if they/ you don’t come up with a solution, I feel reluctant to buy bamboo bedding from this company again, and wouldn’t recommend the bedding sets to anyone.
I am disappointed because it looks and feels how I had hoped for originally, but this shouldn’t happen after nearly two years.

“Oh my goodness what luxury. It really does get softer with every wash. No ironing required which is wonderful - and no crease marks on my face in the morning! Feels so luxurious. In fact, I’m now thinking about getting another colour as we don’t look forward any more to putting our cotton bedding on.”

“So tip no.1 - wash it! Other wise it smells like vinegar.
Tip no.2 - change the buttons they are way to big for the button hole you will end up hurting yourself trying to get them in and out every time you change the bedding unless you just open two buttons and take it in and out from there which is a task in itself. Other than that it’s lovely and soft you might slip and slide along with the quilt.”
Thank you for your review! The smell you are describing disappears very quickly and not something to be alarmed about. The button holes have been purposefully made a fraction smaller as these would stretch after each wash plus each time they are used with the button itself. We wanted to ensure that the buttons were kept secure during the night but appreciate some may find them a little tight at the beginning. Let us know if you have any other questions, happy to help!
