“I wanted to wait a little while before I reviewed these heaters, to make sure I didn't regret what I was saying! I've had them for about a month now and they've replaced other heaters in my flat. Overall I think these are very good heaters, but only due to their price. They're very affordable, about a third of the price of the alternative Smart heaters, but there are compromises. Out of the box they were quite noisy heating up and cooling down, but they've now settled and are very quiet. The controls on the front can almost act as a night light in a darkroom, but it doesn't really bother me. These heaters won't win any design awards, but nor are they ugly. The engineering is a bit simplistic, but once mounted you won't have to care about how the rear of the heater looks or how it's mounted. I found the app that it uses simple to set up and use and without a doubt a huge advantage of these heaters is they will connect direct to your wi-fi without needing a "hub". Another great feature, which isn't really mentioned by Mylek, is that they have a high heat mode and low heat mode (half the wattage of the advertised heater - i.e. 1kw), which makes it great for controlling the room heat. A disadvantage is the onboard thermometer isn't well shielded from the heating element, so when cold the heater reads the correct temperature. Turn the heater on and the thermometer reads much hotter than the actual temp.
Overall I'm very pleased and definitely would purchase again.”
