“The electric blanket arrived promptly, even though in the pre-christmas busy period. It was easy to fit and works well. Only niggle is that it has to be removed and replaced when I do my monthly mattress turn.”
“Great at doing what it’s designed for, however the mains connection to the electric does fall right under my shoulder, why it’s not further up the bed under the pillow would be much more comfortable, even getting out of bed you spin you legs out of bed and you push on it to get out if your of an age and it is just at the spot you need to push so again not ideal for longevity.
All that said it’s great to have a lovely walk bed to drift to sleep in every night.”

“I'm glad I bought a Mylek. The controls are very simple and completely lacking in complex programming timers etc. Just on and off with three heat settings (and off at both ends of the scale).
If Mylek wished to improve their design they can refer to my photos. These show that while this brand is better then others, the position of the cable/box should be closer to the top corner of the blanket. This is such an obvious point that maybe there's a legal/regulatory problem with having cables under pillows? Even so, it must be possible to run a single wire to the top corner? I've taken the pictures at each stage of bed making: electric blanket, then mattress protector, then bottom fitted sheet. I've posted these on amazon UK. As you can see there, the box becomes progressively less obtrusive and by the time you add pillows there's really no problem. We've been using ours nightly since January and so far so good!”
“Excellent electric blanket. Heats up very quickly and when it’s too hot, and you turn it down, it cools quickly as well which is great. When it’s really cold I have it on high for about 10-15 minutes then switch it to low and it stays cosy all night. The dual controls are brilliant as I’m always cold and my hubby is always hot so he can have his side switched off while my side is on. Highly recommended.”
